The Divine Springtime is come, O Most Exalted Pen, for the Festival of the All-Merciful is fast approaching. Bestir thyself, and magnify, before the entire creation, the name of God, and celebrate His praise, in such wise that all created things may be regenerated and made new. Speak, and hold not thy peace. The day star of blissfulness shineth above the horizon of Our name, the Blissful, inasmuch as the kingdom of the name of God hath been adorned with the ornament of the name of thy Lord, the Creator of the heavens. (Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 27)
Dear Friends,
One hundred and forty-three years ago on the outskirts of Baghdad, a beautiful garden brimming with roses and flowers in the fullness of spring was eternally blessed as the site of the holiest and most significant of all Bahá'í festivals. It was in this garden, known as the Garden of Ridvan, that Bahaullah, the Promised One of all ages, declared His Mission to His companions.
The participants of the Cambridge Ruhi Book 6 study circle would like to extend a warm invitation to you and your seeking friends whom you are moved to invite to learn about the unprecedented magnitude of this glorious event in human history. The celebration will take place on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00 pm at the Harvard Business School Chapel. The program will use the Word of God to convey the power of Ridvan, and will include music of different varieties. The venue will be a stunning interfaith chapel that is a twenty-seven foot high concrete cylinder, from one side of which protrudes a pyramidal glass greenhouse containing a below-ground koi pond decorated with live green plants and a small waterfall.
Because space is strictly limited to one hundred and twenty participants, we kindly ask that you RSVP and state the number of people in your party (please email ridvancelebration@yahoo.com you may also field any questions in your confirmation message). Further logistical information, including directions to the venue, are provided below.
We sincerely look forward to celebrating this blessed event with you and your friends on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00 pm at the Harvard Business School Chapel.
With loving regards,
Cambridge Ruhi Book 6 Study Circle Participants
